Spaccanapoli has a wine list that is predominantly Southern Italian. I have seen Italian places that have wine lists that are Italian only; this one was Southern. Texas, take notice. This is in your future. Brace yourself.

Tre Giorni ~ Tre Pizze

cosa farei a magna'mi 'na pizz' mo.
ReplyDeleteesp the salsiccia e friarielli! i know they're not real friarielli, but i'd take it. was there a napoletano workin' that forno a legna?
i wonder what it would take to get one of those down here...ti invidio, ace :)
U are killing me with the pizza porn. How were the Benuara and the Etna Rosso drinking?
ReplyDeleteAs a Texas who loves Italian wine what did you mean by Texas this is your future? I am very interested in the Texas wine industry and wondered what you were referring to.

@Marco- they were delicioso
ReplyDelete@MikeB- just think it's time for the real thing- someone who has the strength of conviction to serve real Southern Italian wines (only) with la vera pizza napolitan'
Looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteI don't think you'll ever see such a wish here. It's Texas. You're not in Kansas anymore, Toto.
BK remember that Texas is big and a lot can happen in a big state (viz The Kinkster), sometimes without people noticing it until after it happens and sometimes not even then. Alfonso wants it to happen in Dallas so he doesn't have to break out his Brioni peel.
ReplyDeleteI hear ya, Marco. But remember; there's Texas, and then there's the rest of the U.S. Texas hasn't been the no.1 market for Ford F150's for 20+ years because they crave guanciale on their fettucine.
ReplyDeleteWhen I can buy that stuff at locally at a meat market (without explaining what it is first), then I'll believe that AC can get a pomegranate wine peel at Jimmy's Food Store. Or his wish... ;-)
